All roads did not lead us to Rome this July but to Nagycenk which welcomed delegates from almost all of our member communities for this year’s annual meeting.
Both the youth and adults took part in interesting workshop sessions and activities prepared by the local organizing team to familiarise them with the host municipality. While the adults discussed the opportunities offered by LEADER action groups to rural communities in the countries of the European Union, the youth focused on topics dealing with climate and environmental issues.
Besides the traditional culinary evening during which delegates presented their local delicacies, this meeting provided them with the opportunity to clash with teams of other countries in Rural Olympics that might as well become a regular activity during our meetings.
Next year we are heading North – to Troisvierges, Luxembourg. Until then köszönöm to our dear Hungarian friends for another amazing Charter weekend!
